Today was one of those days where I felt like shutting my eyes and soaking up the sounds that I heard around the house. I'm not going to live with my family, at this age, forever. My siblings aren't going to be young forever. Contentedness here and now is crucial.

Today school began to come around again. Usually the first day after break ends is kind of slow but then I remember, "Oh yeah! You write a paper a week and take a chemistry class!" 

I did some errands and was protected by God from the ice on the road. Almost crashed a few times but am so grateful for His hands wrapped around my little car. 

I'll end with a quote that hit me today.

"For Paul, the cross forms a new type of community. It is one in which every member has a place and a function, in which everyone is like an organ of a single body, valued for his contribution to edifying the church."
