I can't believe it is already day 7 of this year, of this blog. These past few days of 2012 have been amazing. God has filled me with so much faith + joy for the upcoming year it's crazy.

Saturdays are usually one of my favorite days of the week. This morning was slower, just like a weekend should be. Cleaning + hanging out with my family at home. 

I had a baby shower I was taking pictures at this afternoon. My dear friend (and history teacher from a few years ago) Lauren and her husband Paul adopted the sweetest baby girl a month ago. She is so precious. I was honored to be there and capture the event. :) 

We had Chick-fil-a for dinner. Although, I hate to tell ya, it didn't go so well with my head after eating it. Something that I have been noticing lately is that I have to watch what I eat or headaches/stomaches will come. I have sensitivities to some wheat, MSG, + oats. Other things as well but it's more vague in that area. 

Yet another place to be content in. God has placed this specific trial in my life for a reason and it is for my good. I can rest in the sweet knowledge that He sends headaches my way to refine myself for use in His  kingdom. And I'm not saying its easy to accept that. It's a battle like everything else. But with God on my side, I am winning (and He has already won) that battle.
